About the Event

What do Justin Bieber, Shawn Mendes and Taylor Swift have in common? They were all discovered well before they were in their twenties with Justin and Shawn gaining massive popularity on YouTube before getting signed on.

This workshop is designed to bring out the pop artiste in the participants. Under the guidance of award-winning Composer and Producer, Lindsay Jehan, and emerging artiste Dru Chen, the workshop aims to shed light on how pop hits are made.

The workshop, conducted in a renowned music studio, aims to give participating children a basic understanding of the different types of musical genres, the process of composition and recording, and will end off with a hands-on session to create a simple track to bring home for endless replays during future car rides and shared through one’s social media channels.
